STATE-OF-THE-ART STUMP GRINDER
If you have an unsightly stump in a tight spot or in a gated back yard, call Above and Beyond Tree Service. In 2008, we purchased Morbark’s D76 Self Propelled Track Stump Cutter and it has proven to be invaluable. There are too many features on the D76 to list but some of the most prominent are the machine’s turf friendly expandable track system, size to power ratio, and wireless remote control functions.
With over 60 horsepower, the D76 Stump Cutter has the capability of turning the largest stumps into mulch within minutes. Its narrow 35 inches width allows the machine to fit through narrow gates and into the tightest areas. Since it is self propelled and its weight is equally distributed on a pair of 72” long X 9” wide tracks, it virtually eliminates lawn damage most often seen with traditional tow behind stump cutters. Still, the most attractive feature of the D76 is that all of its functions can be controlled via a wireless remote from a safe operating distance.

BUCKET TRUCK
One of Above and Beyond Tree Service’s greatest assets is its tree truck which has a 60 foot aerial-lift and chip box. Whenever possible we use this truck to safely and efficiently take down or prune trees. The truck’s design and size allows us to get into some of the tightest areas to perform our services. Like all of the trucks in our fleet, this truck is clean, efficient, in great working condition and will not make an oily mess of your property. It is inspected daily by members of our staff to ensure that it complies with all state and federal laws. In addition to the state’s yearly vehicle inspection, the truck’s 60 foot aerial lift undergoes a manufacturer’s dielectric test to certify that it is capable of working in and around power lines. This is truly a piece of equipment that puts us “above and beyond” our competitors.
BRUSH CHIPPER
This is Above & Beyond Tree Service’s Model 13 Brush Chipper, which is manufactured by Morbark. This chipper is one of our most powerful and efficient pieces of equipment. It is equipped with a 125hp John Deer engine and is capable of shredding trees up to 14 inches in diameter. It also has a powerful winch that allows us to pull brush and trees from remote areas. The chipper is maintained daily by Above & Beyond Tree Service to ensure it is operating at full capacity in a safe and efficient manner.
We do offer a brush chipping service for the DIY homeowner/tree trimmer that does not have the means to remove the brush. If you have brush piles that need to be chipped, please call us. We will gladly discuss hourly rates and, as you can see, our brush chipper will make short work of your brush piles.
DUMP TRUCK
In 2007, Above & Beyond Tree Service purchased this DT 466 International with a container roll-off system. Although this truck has endless possibilities, we primarily use it as a chip box and for hauling logs and firewood. At first glance, the truck looks like and ordinary dump truck. However, the container can be hydraulically rolled from the truck’s frame to the ground. This allows crew members to roll heavy logs into it, which is safer and easier than loading a standard dump truck. Once the container is full, the trucks hydraulic system picks it up and rolls it back into place on the trucks frame. The material inside the container is than transported to an offsite location and dumped.
