Above & Beyond Tree Service provides its customers with the highest quality hardwood from locally removed trees. Please call for pricing, as we sell various types of product depending on your needs. The following is a brief description of key terms used to describe the types of firewood that Above & Beyond Tree Service sells.

Hardwood – Unless specifically ordered, the product delivered is a mixture of various hardwoods (Ash, Oak, Maple, Hickory, Cherry, etc). Unlike some of our competitors, we do not use softwoods such as pine, willow, and poplar as filler.
Cord wood – To keep prices down, our cord wood is bulk loaded into a dump truck. This means the wood is not stacked into our trucks and quantities may vary slightly.
Semi-seasoned – Our semi-seasoned product has been sitting for a period greater than six months. For best results, this wood should be ordered by mid summer. Buying semi-seasoned is also a way to save money, as it is less expensive when compared to seasoned wood.
Seasoned – Processed firewood is the only product we sell as seasoned. We define seasoned firewood as product that was processed last year and exposed to the elements for optimal drying.
Unprocessed wood – We deliver truck loads of unprocessed logs for the ambitious customer who enjoys cutting and splitting their own wood. Most of the logs delivered range in size from 3ft to 11ft in length and 10in to 30in in diameter.
Processed firewood – All of our firewood is processed in our firewood processor, which helps to ensure that the lengths and diameters are consistent. In general most of the product is 16” to 18” in length and 4” to 8” wide.
Custom Processed Firewood – Specific sizes can be ordered to fit just about any wood burning stove. We strongly encourage our customer to order custom firewood early in the season to ensure the product is seasoned for the winter months.
Delivery & Discounts – For delivery locations within a 10 mile radius of Smithfield, RI, price includes delivery. A surcharge may be added to orders outside the 10 mile radius. We also offer discounts for orders placed in multiples of three.
